The U.S. Army Chapel Hanau, Germany was the scene July 7 of the wedding of Jewell M. Chaffee, of Saginaw, and Pfc. Richard Brode, of Rochester. Pfc. Brode, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Brode, 420 West Third street, is with the 37th Engineers Headquarters in Hanau. He graduated from Rochester High School in June, 1950 and from Central Michigan College in June, 1954. He was a member of Alpha Beta Sigma fraternity.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Chaffee of Saginaw. She is also a graduate of Central Michigan receiving her diploma this June. She held membership in the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority.
